GA needed a cost-effective delivery service platform, encompassing backend, frontend, and website development. The platform was to have three different login/sign up panels (Super admin dashboard, User, Driver) with the super admin having access to all panels. They wanted to incorporate Google maps and AWS (Amazon Web Services) for route generation. An Analytical dashboard was also a requirement, as was a template system. The Zensprint team was tasked with creating a custom software solution that would efficiently utilize algorithms and save the company's employees time.
One of the significant key features of this software platform is the optimal route generation for the drivers. According to the given addresses an appropriate route is generated for the drivers so that they can save time and fuel consumptions.
An analytical dashboard is implemented in this website. Delivery reports, Order reports, Route reports, Driver reports, all these information are available in this dashboard.
The Qtec Solution Limited team has generated a template system on this custom made software . This template saves the previously generated routes that can be used while delivering in the same addresses next time.
We have implemented google maps API in this website for route generating. A Geolocation API was integrated to find the exact location of an address. Distance Matrix API was implemented to calculate the distance between two addresses. The team has also implemented a JavaScript map.
The team also inserted AWS Map features to have better results while route generating. The service is relatively new and our team had to do a fair amount of R&D for implementing it. An API is integrated between Oddbox and Alpha DMS software. Through the API The orders placed in Oddbox are received by this Alpha DMS software . Alpha DMS then fulfills the orders received by the OddoBox platform.
